Umrah packages from Birmingham
No non-stop to Saudi Arabia this winter, so check every Birmingham routing carefully.
Saudia's Birmingham to Jeddah route is suspended for winter 2026–27. An airline-news source reported in August 2026 that the cancellation runs through 26 March 2027, with flights resuming on 1 April 2027 at the earliest.
Sources conflict here. A Birmingham mosque's group trip for 19 to 29 November 2026 still lists a Saudia flight from Birmingham to Jeddah. If you book a trip like that, ask the organiser to confirm the flight in writing.
Without the non-stop, Birmingham pilgrims connect via Dubai, Istanbul or Doha, or travel to Manchester or Heathrow. Emirates via Dubai takes about 16 hours 35 minutes in total.

Questions pilgrims ask
Is there a direct flight from Birmingham to Jeddah?
Not this winter. Saudia's route is suspended until at least April 2027. One group trip still lists it, so confirm with the organiser.
I hold a non-British passport. Does that change the price?
It can. One Birmingham group trip charges foreign-passport holders £150 more for the visa, because British passports use the e-visa.
How long does it take to reach Jeddah from Birmingham?
About 16 hours 35 minutes via Dubai on Emirates, or around 6 hours from Manchester or Heathrow after travelling there.
